Will graduated from the Health Sciences University (formerly the University College of Osteopathy) in London, where he trained at the university’s specialist osteopathic clinic. Since graduating, he has spent a year working in a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Glasgow, gaining experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints and working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Will takes a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to treatment. He enjoys helping patients understand what may be contributing to their symptoms and giving them the confidence and tools to manage their health beyond the treatment room. He has a particular interest in back, neck and shoulder pain, as well as postural and work-related complaints. Alongside osteopathy, Will is qualified in medical acupuncture, which he can incorporate into treatment where appropriate. He also previously worked as a sports massage therapist, giving him additional experience in muscular injuries, exercise-related complaints and rehabilitation. An avid gamer, Will has a particular interest in the effects of prolonged sitting and modern lifestyles on the body. His university dissertation explored forward head posture and its relationship with respiratory function and thoracic mechanics.
Will combines hands-on treatment, acupuncture, exercise and practical advice to create an individual approach for each patient, with the aim of helping them move more comfortably and get back to the things that matter to them.
